Spyros Roumeliotis works as a freelance Audio Engineer since 2016. He specializes in Audio Post Production for Film & TV, including Sound Design, Editing, Mixing and Soundtrack Composition. Additionally, he works as a Location Sound Recordist and has spent 4 years as a Live Sound Engineer (FOH).

Received his BSc in Civil Engineering from the Technological Educational Institute of Crete, before going on to earn a Diploma in Audio Engineering at the SAE Institute of Athens and Certificate of Sound Design & Soundtrack from Ionian University (Department of Audio & Visual Arts). Ηe holds an MSc in Sound and Music Technologies from the Hellenic Mediterranean University (School of Music and Optoacoustic Technologies, Department of Music Technology & Acoustics). 

Skilled in Documentary Sound & Soundtrack

He has collaborated with major production companies in Greece and abroad, as well as with independent directors and filmmakers. Additionally, he has worked as a freelancer for esteemed organizations such as the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) and Istorima (SNFCC). Projects in which he has participated have been selected by both domestic and international festivals, garnered nominations, and received exposure on prominent media platforms including the BBC, ARTE, Cosmote TV, and ERT.

In addition to film productions, he has participated in commercials, music shows, record productions, and live recordings. Concurrently, he has released four soundtracks featuring original compositions.
